@Ravish you probably need to change the settings on your Global Security Settings panel. Go to: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html and set the folder you have the files on to “trusted”.

@lekan if you follow this example, you need all files to be in the same directory in your server.

@Igor to make it expand in width you need to make a few changes: in step 1, change the flash canvas the way you need the final stage to be (use same actionscript); in step 2 and step 3, change the clip property according to your canvas on step 1. Just keep in mind that the clip property obeys this format “clip: rect (top, right, bottom, left)”

Hi,

I’ve been trying to make use of your code in order to publish a banner that expands in width instead of height, but had no luck :(

I would really appreciate if you could give me an example how could this be done for a banner that expands from right to left.

IETester website is under construction but you can still get it through http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage

And it does works on Vista!
