A little bit about me:
I was born in Bento Gonçalves (RS, Brazil) and currently live in Porto Alegre. graduated in Computer Science at UCS and initially worked as a web developer doing some design work at Copernicus, a company that I co-founded.
Eventually the design work was demanding more of my time and I became Copernicus’ “official” designer. Since then my passion for web design has increased each day and I was able to focus my coding skills on front-end development, creating clean, accessible and semantic markup.
This website is my attempt to express myself on the web and show some of my portfolio and my side projects. Here, I’ll cover most of the subjects I’m interested in: design, art, web, photography, illustration, html, css, jQuery, books and some random thoughts.
Hobbies and interests:
I’m quite into music. Since a little kid I used to see my dad play guitar and sing which led me to start playing drums and forming bands. I am currently focused on playing the cajón with an acoustic trio.
Also I’m a home brewer. Together with my brother we started brewing our own beers and so far it’s been a great experience. You can see our “adventure” in the tumblr Ribeiro Bros Brewery.
You can contact me for quotes and queries regarding freelancing work. I’m currently available so feel free to send me a message stating your project, deadlines, technology, etc. and I’ll get in touch with you.
